Your first appointment with an IRFC physician can be conducted by secure video — no travel required. You will discuss your medical history, prior fertility evaluations, and goals. If you have existing records, send them in advance and your physician will review them before your appointment.
Bloodwork and ultrasound monitoring can often be completed at a clinic near you, with results sent to IRFC for interpretation. Our team will coordinate directly with your local clinic and provide detailed instructions on exactly what tests are needed and when.
Once your workup is complete, your IRFC physician prepares your individualized treatment plan. Your coordinator contacts you with a detailed timeline, cost estimate, and itinerary for your in-person visit. We plan everything around your travel schedule.
Egg retrieval, embryo transfer, and certain monitoring appointments require in-person visits to our Southern California clinic. Most patients schedule a 1–2 week stay for an IVF cycle. Your coordinator helps arrange logistics so your time in California is efficient and focused on your care.
After your procedure, follow-up monitoring and pregnancy support can resume with your local clinic, coordinated by IRFC. We remain available for consultation and provide detailed instructions to your local care team to ensure seamless continuity of care.

Yes. Your initial consultation, medical record review, and much of your diagnostic workup can be done remotely via telehealth and coordination with a local clinic near you. In-person visits are required only for specific procedures — primarily egg retrieval and embryo transfer.
Most patients plan for 10–14 days for the egg retrieval phase, and a shorter visit (2–4 days) for embryo transfer if done in a separate cycle. We work with your schedule to minimize time away from home without compromising your care.
Yes. IRFC has experience working alongside clinics worldwide. We provide detailed instructions for monitoring protocols, and your local clinic sends results directly to our team. We review everything and adjust your protocol in real time.

Absolutely. Many international patients choose to complete egg retrieval and embryo banking during one visit, then return for embryo transfer at a time that suits them. Embryos are stored in our TMRW Vault with RFID tracking and 24/7 monitoring for as long as needed.
IRFC does not arrange visas or travel directly, but we provide supporting documentation for visa applications where relevant (such as medical visit letters). Our coordinator can provide guidance on the type of visit required and assist with planning.
IRFC provides a detailed cost estimate before treatment begins. International patients typically pay out of pocket; our financial coordinator will give you a transparent, itemized breakdown including all clinic fees. Financing options through CapexMD are available to eligible US-based patients.
